WHY SO SERIOUS?

Flicking through the racks at Parlor X, Paddington last Wednesday, I got stuck on a particular Comme Des Garcons sweater dress. Always pushing construction to bizarre extremes - one sleeve was miles longer than the other, both tailored at sharp right-angles, with another seemingly misplaced right-angle jutting out above the hem. It sounds stupid, but it gave me the sudden urge to laugh out loud (thankfully I restrained).

That's the beauty of clothes that don't take themselves so seriously.
